Built around you

Type what you're facing. Practice exactly that.

One short note steers everything. Gravitas reads it, along with your industry and career stage, and builds practice for that exact situation: a tailored topic list from your note, then real questions inside every topic, written for your role and level.

  • "What are you working on or preparing for?" Write it the way you'd say it: "first product manager role", "final round at a strategy firm", "a raise conversation with my VP". One note, and every question follows it.
  • Career stage Entry to executive. The same question plays differently at every level, so your questions scale with you.
  • Industry Thirteen industries, consulting to healthcare. Your questions arrive anchored in the work you actually do.

Your note

First product manager role. Interviewing at early-stage startups after four years as a data analyst.

Questions built from it

  • Your usage data says one thing and a customer interview says the opposite. Walk me through what you ship.
  • Why product, why now, after four years in data?
  • Walk me through a roadmap call you got wrong.

What we measure

The dimensions of delivery.

Every recording is read across the dimensions that decide how you come across, then distilled into one clear thing to work on next.

Metrics screen with per-dimension delivery scores
  • Filler Words

Catch every "um", "uh", and "like", and learn to drop them.

  • Pace

Find the words-per-minute sweet spot that keeps you easy to follow.

  • Hedge Words

Spot "I think" and "maybe" patterns that quietly undermine you.

  • Pause Quality

Use silence on purpose. Strategic pauses make you sound certain.

  • Vocal Variety

Pitch, tone, and rhythm shifts that keep listeners leaning in.

  • Energy Pattern

How your intensity moves through a talk: peaks, valleys, flatlines.

Built for real life

Whoever you are. Whatever you're preparing for.

Practice is organized around situations, the way your life is. Pick the one you're in.

  • Job Interviews. The questions for your role and seniority, from the recruiter screen to the final panel.
  • On the Job. Status updates, 1:1s, feedback, bad news, and the case for a raise. The moments that decide careers between interviews.
  • Casual. Everyday speaking and warm-ups, so the reps keep coming when nothing is on fire.
  • Your Own Questions. Paste the question you're dreading and rehearse it until it's boring.
Interview: Walk me through a time you changed your mind.
On the Job: Your project slipped. Open the status update.
Casual: Explain your job to a stranger in thirty seconds.
Your Own: Paste the question you're dreading.

Questions

Good to know.

How is this different from just recording myself?

Recording yourself shows you what you said. Gravitas tells you how you came across, reading every dimension of delivery, from filler words and pace to pauses and vocal variety, then handing you one strength, one fix, and one drill to run next. It's the difference between a mirror and a coach.

How do the tailored questions work?

You give Gravitas a short note on what you're preparing for, plus your industry and career stage if you want. It builds a topic list for that exact situation in under a minute, then writes the questions inside each topic for your role and level. Change the note and the plan follows. Tailored generation is part of Gravitas Pro.

I'm not interviewing. Is Gravitas still for me?

Interviews are one of four practice categories. On the Job covers the moments that decide careers week to week: status updates, 1:1s, feedback, bad news, and the raise conversation. There is a full ten-lesson chapter on exactly those, and Casual keeps you sharp between the big moments.

What's free and what's Pro?

Your first coached session is free. Gravitas Pro unlocks the full curriculum, tailored question generation, multi-question mock interviews, and unlimited practice. Plans start with a 7-day free trial; current pricing is on the App Store page.

Is my voice data private?

Yes, and it's built that way on purpose. Gravitas only records when you tap record, never in the background. Your audio is used to generate your feedback and then discarded from our servers; the only lasting copy stays encrypted on your device and is kept out of iCloud backup. Your voice is never cloned or used to train any AI. The note you type to steer your questions stays in your profile, is used only to build your practice, and can be cleared in the app anytime. The full detail lives in our privacy policy.

How much time does it take?

About sixty seconds a day. One short recording is enough to get an honest read and a drill to work on, short enough that you'll actually keep it up, which is the whole point.

Is it on the App Store?

Yes. Gravitas is live on the App Store for iPhone. Download it, run your first coached session free, and hear what it says about how you sound.

Walk in already ready.

The questions for your next room already exist. Practice them before you hear them for real.
